Overview
This All Inclusive adult-only hotel is perfect for couples and popular with honeymooners. It has undergone refurbishment during 2017 becoming a boutique style 4 star couples orientated hotel. Each room has its own balcony or veranda and overlooks the sea or carefully tended tropical gardens. The hotel enjoys direct access to the beach, where you will also find a variety of complimentary watersports.
For the ultimate in romance, choose from the a la carte menu of the Le St Geran restaurant at dusk. The restaurant is situated on a sandy pier almost completely surrounded by water. From there, you can watch the sun set the sea ablaze as you savour your evening meal. There are also ‘Romatic Moments’ experiences such as a tandem bike ride, sunset sailing or a beach dinner under the stars, all of which can be booked locally at a supplement.
The hotel also has an on land restaurant and bar, the Isle de France. The former serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast includes fresh tropical fruit, or bacon and eggs. In addition to cocktails and bar drinks, the bar serves snacks such as pancakes.
The Seven Colours Wellness spa offers a selection of massages and beauty treatments, including a Vichy shower complete with body treatments and a hydro massage. The hotel also offers a range of complimentary sports. Choose from windsurfing, kayaking, pedal boating, sailing, snorkeling, aqua aerobics, beach volleyball, petanques and aqua gym. For quieter pursuits, you can take a trip to the reef in a glass bottomed boat, browse the library or simply chill out on a long chair by the pool.
For an additional supplement, you may also enjoy catamaran cruises, water skiing, diving (through the PADI school) and deep sea fishing. You can hire a car or bicycle for exploring further afield. A good selection of shops and restaurants are just 15km in Grand Baie. The hotel's own shop, Blue Earth, stocks a selection of souvenirs, beachwear and basics.
If the romance of this location captures your heart, enquire after the wedding packages. A range of weddings and renewal of vows packages are on offer.
