The steps are located between Caffè Vaticano and Hotel Alimandi Vaticano, on the corner of Viale Vaticano and Via Tunisi. Our City Wonders coordinators will be wearing blue City Wonders polo shirts or jackets for easy recognition. Arriving by metro or tram:The closest metro stop is on line A (red line): Ottaviano-Musei Vaticani. Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. Duration: 1 hour. St. Peter's Basilica and other religious sites may be subject to unscheduled closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we will provide guests with an extended tour of the Vatican Museums, or appropriate alternative. While we undertake to tell guests beforehand if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible. In these cases, we are unable to provide refunds or discounts. Entrance into the Vatican requires a strict dress code. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or mobility impairments on our tours. We are also unable to accommodate pushchairs or strollers on our tours.
