Customer Guidelines

Key Message 1: 

Customers travelling to/from TLV  have the ability to change their travel dates, or travel to/from ATH or LCA instead.

We can also rebook using the following guidelines: 

Customer Guidelines: Rebook onto EL AL (LY) 23MAY2025 - Update 6 - 16:35 (BST)

Key Message 2: 

Should the customer want to revert back to BA due to Suspension of EL AL Services to/from Israel. Customers who have already rebooked are eligible for one additional free change. This change can include re-routing back onto British Airways (BA) services, using available alternative hubs such as Athens (ATH) or Larnaca (LCA) as detailed on the current polices.

  • Customers can also re-route +/- 14 days onto BA flights on LHR-ATH/ATH-LHR or LHR-LCA/LCA-LHR.

 

If flight has been CANCELLED:

  • Standard allowance to rebook or refund as per conditions of carriage.
  • Customers can also re-route +/- 14 days onto BA flights on LHR-ATH/ATH-LHR or LHR-LCA/LCA-LHR.

Origin/Destination/Stopover changes

Yes - customers can travel on BA services LHR-ATH/ATH-LHR or LHR-LCA/LCA-LHR instead.

Refunds Allowed

No (only allowed if flight is cancelled, as per standard conditions of carriage

Redemptions included

Important Information

  • One ticket change allowed from the above options.
  • All BA operated sectors in a booking can be changed if at least one of the BA operated sectors is eligible above. Other sectors in the booking must be rebooked in the same class or lowest available in the same cabin as originally booked.
  • Any changes to non-BA operated sectors will need to be requoted and any possible fare difference charged to the customer.
  • It is essential that clear remarks are added to the PNR to reflect the conversation with the customer and the option that has been accepted.
  • If rebooking, please ensure any associated SSR’s are added back to the PNR.
  • Please add OS BA TLV SITUATION to any serviced booking, for tracking purposes.
  • Any additional expenses incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
