Name correction
Name corrections can be avoided by ensuring you spell the customer's name as shown on their passport.
Policy terms
- The policy applies to BA125 tickets only.
- For security reasons, the first name and surname on the booking must match the names on the customer’s travel document(s).
- We do not require middle name or second/double-barrelled surnames for flights (not applicable for hyphenated names, e.g. Jones-Smith).
- Complete name changes are NOT permitted as tickets are non-transferable*.
- Name corrections are not permitted once travel has commenced*.
- Only one name correction per customer permitted.
- Non-compliance to the policy will result in ADM.
- This policy is not applicable on Group bookings.
*Refer to Supporting documents section for exceptions, which must be reissued by Trade Helpdesk.
