Book Flights to Turin

Discover the grandeur of Turin – the former royal capital of Italy, where elegant piazzas and smart boulevards set the scene for a memorable city break. The Italian Alps create a dramatic backdrop to Turin’s skyline, so you can easily hit the slopes in winter and hike in the summer, or stay put in the city and enjoy its relaxed cafe culture all year round.

Fly from London to Turin with British Airways to explore northern Italy’s Piedment region. Famous for its Baroque architecture, there’s no better spot to admire its beauty than the Piazza Castello. This is where you’ll find the Palazzo Reale with its exquisite royal armoury, ornate ceilings and stuccowork. Don’t miss the nearby Palazzo Madama either, current home to the Turin City Museum of Ancient Art – and former residence of Napoleon, no less. For some post-sightseeing indulgence, you’re never too far from an artisanal chocolate shop thanks to the city’s claim to fame as the birthplace of the chocolate bar. Then when evening comes, while away the hours in the San Salvario district by the River Po, enjoying good food and plenty of local Barolo in its buzzy bars and restaurants.
