Situated above a breathtaking bay with its own private beach, the Mazzarò Sea Palace delivers warm hospitality on Sicily’s eastern coast. Mazzarò Sea Palace is located in Taormina, overlooking the picture-perfect bay of Mazzarò. The building leads to a sandy beach, only accessible to hotel guests. A nearby cable car (less than 300 metres away) will take you to the hilltop town of Taormina, which boasts plenty of shops and restaurants, in addition to a well-preserved Greco-Roman Theatre and the impressive Palazzo Corvaja. You can also take scenic boat tours around the island’s capes and grottos, or visit Mount Etna’s breathtaking summit, 32 miles away. The port city of Catania sits at the foot of Mount Etna, and Catania International Airport lies south of the city, around 40 miles from the hotel.
The hotel’s spacious rooms are contemporary, outfitted with wooden furnishings and soft grey, coral or blue accents. Nearly all rooms offer sunset views across the Mediterranean Sea, and they are equipped with flat-screen TVs and minibars (available for an extra charge). In the evening, the menu showcases traditional Sicilian cuisine, incorporating fresh pasta dishes, local seafood, succulent meats and vegetarian options. You can also opt for a special food tasting menu, which pairs tempting dishes with local wines. For a more luxurious dining experience, Blum Restaurant serves chef Riccardo Fazio's stunningly creative dishes on an intimate six table terrace floating above the waves. Order from three expertly designed tasting menus, two of which offer five and seven courses, and one which is entirely dedicated plant-based fare. You can also opt to dine a la carte. Alongside traditional wine pairings, you'll also find a cocktail pairing experience here which has been tailored exclusively for the restaurant's signature tasting menus.
Almare Bar provides light food and drinks throughout the day, followed by signature cocktails and live music in the evenings. The bar terrace overlooks the beach and Mediterranean Sea.
