Take the N2 and stay on this motorway until you reach George. Take the R404 exit which is the George Airport turnoff. Follow the R404 towards the airport / Oudtshoorn. You will go over a crossroads and the Fancourt is approximately 6 km further on the right hand side.

Take the N2 in the direction of Cape Town / George. Do no take the George turnoff, but go on until you get to the R404 exit which is the George Airport turnoff. Follow the R404 towards the airport / Oudtshoorn. You will go over a crossroads and the Fancourt is approximately 6 km further on the right hand side.
The Fancourt Leisure Trail consisting of three distances, 2, 5 & 10 km has been designed specifically with the needs of the outdoor trainer in mind. Consisting of a wide variety of contours, the trail provides both a challenge for the serious enthusiast or a more leisurely approach for the amateur. So, whether running or walking, you will have the opportunity to nourish body and soul while enjoying the Resort's scenic beauty.
For those with more energy, mountain bikes and backpacks are available for hire, and there is plenty of horse-riding in the region.
For the children, there are bikes for hire as well as fishing on the resort.
Other golfing facilities include a warm up area, three well-stocked golf shops and a Golf Academy with full time teaching professionals.
Equestrian:
The Riding Centre is based on the eastern side of the George Riding Club grounds. It offers outrides in the forests surrounding the beautiful Garden Route Dam. Flowers and birds are abundant and you may have the luck to see the occassional bushback or loerie.
The Riding Centre offers rides of different lengths and standards. Champagne breakfast rides are available and this could include non-riders or family members.
