The intimate, family-owned Rostrevor Hotel is renowned for its highly personalised service and offers an affordable stay along secluded Barbados beachfront. The hotel is situated in the heart of St Lawrence Gap, on the south coast of Barbados. This area is famous for its abundance of vibrant restaurants, bars and evening entertainment. Whilst the hotel offers access to a small beach, it’s less than a quarter mile from the scenic stretches of Dover Beach and under one mile to Worthing Beach. Oistin’s Fish Fry seafood market, where you can sample the fresh catch of the day, can be reached in just over two miles. Bridgetown and Grantley Adams International Airport are both just over seven miles away.
All 79 rooms are decorated in warm Caribbean colours and patterns. Each offers Wi-Fi, a flat- screen TV and self-catering facilities comprising of fully equipped kitchenettes with a refrigerator and a cooktop or oven. All rooms provide Caribbean Sea views from a private balcony or patio. Accommodation is spread across three wings – Traditional, Superior and Deluxe. Studios in the Superior Wing are equipped with air-conditioning and offer spectacular sea views. Pool Deck rooms in the traditional wing are slightly dated, while the Deluxe Wing is the more modern part of the hotel, offering studio-style accommodation with either a king-size bed or two double beds – appealing to families. Speciality rooms with wheelchair access are available on request.

There’s a full-service bar to take advantage of, too, with homemade rum punch and daily happy hours. On Sundays, come here to savour the Bajan buffet lunch with live entertainment.
Harlequin Restaurant is an a la carte affair, popular with visitors in the area. It offers an outdoor terrace overlooking the St Lawrence Gap, as well as cosy indoor seating. The menu features international and Caribbean dishes such as fresh coconut shrimp, red snapper and barracuda. Barbeques are held twice weekly.
