Perched on the edge of Portugal’s largest marina, the surrounding area is dotted with superyachts, fine dining restaurants and luxury boutiques. The resort is roughly a six-minute stroll to Casino Vilamoura and it’s under a mile from Cerro da Vila – a small archaeological site featuring Roman village ruins. Three of the Algarve’s best rated golf courses are within eight miles of the resort and Faro International Airport is 15 miles to the east.
With a neutral colour scheme and natural materials throughout, the resort interior echoes its surroundings. Overlooking the marina or sea, contemporary rooms are bright and modern. Upgrade to a Premium Room for additional benefits including priority check-in and check-out (subject to availability) and 10% off treatments at the spa. Junior Suites also feature these additional benefits, as well as more space. Family Rooms accommodate extra guests on a sofa bed, while those preferring an adult-focussed experience can stay in Premium Purobeach accommodation, where you can enjoy a sun lounger, parasol and a welcome drink at the Purobeach beachfront area or the adult-only Purobeach poolside zone (open April to October, schedules subject to change, reservations required).

On the sea-facing side of the resort, a sky-blue pool features a shallow area and is surrounded by sun loungers. The landscaped gardens offer further space to soak in the sun, enjoying the ocean breeze.
The resort is also home to the elegant Purobeach – a beach club concept split into two zones. On the beachfront, guests of all ages are welcome to lounge atop the golden sands as DJ tunes play. Tucked away within the hotel grounds, the Purobeach poolside zone is an adult-only haven, with an adjoining bar (Purobeach facilities open seasonally, reservations required and charges apply).
Soothe sun-drenched skin at Tivoli Spa, where the menu includes treatments for the face, neck, body and feet. Try a Diamond Well-living body treatment for a custom experience based on your mood, using vegan products. Tivoli Spa is home to the Tivoli Shape Gym, a ‘functional training room’ offering exercise classes and an indoor pool, too. Meanwhile, young guests can join an exciting programme of activities at the family or kid’s pool, or at the outdoor playground (available seasonally).
Keen golfers will find a choice of approximately 30 celebrated golf courses in the area, many within the vicinity of the resort, including the Arnold Palmer-designed Victoria, home to the Portugal Masters.

A varied spread of Portuguese and international dishes is offered for breakfast at Voyage Restaurant, including hot pastries and coffee, tropical fruits and juices, and Portuguese specialities sure to provide energy for the day ahead. In a relaxed Roman osteria-style setting by the gardens and pool, you’ll find Oregano Restaurant, offering a Mediterranean menu including pastas, salads and pizzas – with plenty of vegetarian options (open seasonally). You can also savour all-day cuisine inspired by the fresh flavours of Melbourne, Miami, and Marrakesh at the Purobeach beachfront location. In the evenings, the elegant Pepper's Steakhouse Restaurant provides the best cuts of meat and fresh seafood, accompanied by an extensive wine list, overlooking the marina.
Head to Glee Boutique Café for handcrafted sweet treats, including chocolates, pastries and tarts, followed by a latte or cappuccino. Try the chef’s sweet selection of the day during afternoon tea, in the Parisian-inspired setting. D’Azur Bar is ideal for a refreshing drink or smoothie between dips in the pool (open seasonally) and The Argo Cocktail Bar is the perfect sophisticated venue to spend your evenings, with live music and signature cocktails with ingredients inspired by the Spice Routes.
