Like any wild child of the 90s, Ibiza has now grown up. But, with its natural beauty, stylish clubs and fusion restaurants, we can’t see it ever getting old. Here’s how to spend 48 hours in Ibiza: enough time to soak in the pool, slip on your dancing shoes, and be back boasting by Monday.
20:00 Make your getaway
You can catch direct flights from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London City and London Stansted to Ibiza Airport and be there in two and a half hours.
If you can duck out of work a little early catch the 14:45 flight from London City Airport and arrive at 18:10, in time for dinner. Alternatively, take the 20:35 from London Gatwick or the 21:45 from London City Airport, arriving at 23:55 or 01:10 respectively. The main beach hotels on Playa d’en Bossa are just a ten-minute transfer away.
You’ll spot yachts, romantic couples and everyone wearing an awful lot of white from this trendy perch.
01:00 Check out the check-in
Park your wheelie suitcase at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, on Playa d’en Bossa. This hotel isn’t just near the party – it literally is the party, hosting nightly events. For somewhere a little quieter that’s still moments away from the action, Torre del Mar is the perfect pied-à-terre after a night at the nearby clubs and beach parties.
