The Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius is set in 20 acres of manicured gardens, which sweep down to the 600 metre beach and ocean front. The hotel represents superb value for a five-star deluxe resort hotel.
The guest rooms are located in terraced pavilions or as individual luxury villas with private pools, scattered around the gardens. They give you a real feel of space and tranquillity. It is the little things that matter and every detail is well thought out. There are iPod music docks in the rooms and complimentary WiFi around the resort. It's worth noting that if you require an extra bed for a third person it will be a rollaway style bed.

Start the day with a choice of fresh pastries, cereals, fruits, yoghurts and tea and coffee, as well as hot treats. For dinner, enjoy international, Indian and Mauritian cuisine. There is also a vegetarian menu and selections for kids. On The Rocks offers al fresco dining, set by the sea. Enjoy light options, from sandwiches to salads, pizzas and pastas. Kids menu available for lunch. The On The Rocks Pool Daytime Service provides juices, cocktails, wines and spirits. Enjoy at your sun lounger if you wish. Beach boys provide you with fruit, iced water and towels. There are Barbeque nights serving up a fresh selection of seafood and meat. Reservations are required. The Gunpowder Room features family style Creole food, set in a resorted 18th century building. Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday upon reservation. While the Main Bar is the perfect spot to catch sunsets from the beachfront bar, sipping a cocktail, spirit, martini or wine.
If you're staying on Half Board you can choose from the a la carte dinner at the Main Restaurant or On The Rocks (weather permitting) and the set menu at Gunpowder Room. Supplement for food only (three course meal).
