The marina is a highlight of Port St Charles, as you can watch boats and mega yachts pass by throughout the day. Take the complimentary water taxi to the man-made Sunset Island, which is home to the resort’s restaurant, the Port St Charles Yacht Club. Here you’ll also find a bar and a vast deck area which is outfitted with lounge chairs – ideal for watching sunsets across the lagoon.
Due to the size of the property, you can make use of the complimentary water taxi all around the lagoon. Head to the beautiful white sand beach for a swim or to relax in peace and quiet. Unlike most hotel beaches in Barbados, which are open to the public, the beach here is private. You can also spend time around the attractive outdoor swimming pool which lies on the water’s edge and includes a poolside bar.
Along with a fully equipped fitness centre, there are two floodlit tennis courts which can be reached on either side of the property. In addition, there’s a hair and beauty salon offering a range of treatments and hairdressing services. A concierge team are available to help you organise tours and excursions around the island. Located on the Offshore Breakwater, the Port St Charles Yacht Club is an open-air restaurant which offers expansive views of the harbour and beach. Light lunches and a la carte dinners are served here daily until 22:00. Dishes are mostly inspired by international cuisine with a local flair. During peak periods, you’ll often find live music and scheduled activities to entertain children here.
The bar sits on a man-made beach, along a boardwalk. It’s a very popular spot to enjoy refreshing sundowners.
