Everything you need to know about flying to Barcelona with British Airways

What’s the cheapest time to fly to Barcelona?

With dazzling summer temperatures hitting an average high of 28°C, the city-beach blend of Barcelona is a best of both worlds destination.

Spring time can rise to 20°C and is a pleasantly quiet time to visit the cities main attractions. This cooler season makes it comfier to wander around the city without breaking a sweat. Come May and June, the city sees more faces as the weather starts to heat up for a glorious summer. July and August champion the peak season for Barcelona, as the hottest months. Soak up the Mediterranean climate, with highs peaking in the 30°C’s and the average summer sea temperature hovering at a refreshing 20°C.

Autumn is delightful in the city, with warming temperatures of early 20°C’s and cooler evenings, which makes sleeping that tad easier. From around November, colder temperatures creep in, as does the rain with scatters of showers. Night time will be even chillier, so pop in extra clothing layers and a rain jacket.
