A total of seven pools can be found here, including three for children and the whale pool, with floating daybeds, a bar and cabanas (for guests aged 12 and over). You’ll also have access to the secluded sandy beach, where a range of non-motorised water sports are offered along the coastline in the summer months.

At the Vila Vita Spa By Sisley Paris, the world-renowned French skincare brand combines ultra-chic ocean-inspired design along with its award-winning products. Choose from a broad range of Sisley’s Phyto-Aromatic treatments for face and body, as well as a range of medical grade footcare treatments by legendary podiatrist, Margaret Dabbs. A fantastic selection of yoga classes includes aerial, power and Yin styles, and a choice of meditation practises will help treat the mind. For the muscles, personal training sessions, a HYPOXI studio – a method of mixing low impact exercise with vacuum and compression technology, TRX training, Pilates and aqua fitness classes are provided. A hair studio, Turkish bath, sauna, ice grotto and plunge pool complete the vast collection of wellness facilities.

For relaxation beyond the resort, charter one of four elegant yachts. They are available for half or full day private luxury sailing trips along the Algarve’s beautiful coast of sandy coves, enchanting caves and grottos.

Family-friendly activities include a nine-hole pitch and putt practice course, an 18-hole putting green and mini-golf course, local arts and crafts workshops, Natalie’s Creche for children aged from six months to three years, an adventure playground and kids’ club at the Annabella’s Kids’ Parc for those aged 4 to 11, and a sport focussed Teens Club for 10 to 15 year-olds.

Eleven inviting restaurants are accompanied by an impressive wine cellar, located eight metres underground, with over 11,000 bottles. The resort’s signature restaurant, Ocean, brings two Michelin stars to the table, as well as ocean vistas. At Bela Vita Bar & Brasserie, Parisian cuisine is on the menu, and you’ll find Portuguese cuisine at Adega and Atlantico – the former by the lake, and the latter in a fine dining setting where an adult-only breakfast is also served. Further fine dining can be found at the stunning Moorish-inspired Aladin Grill, while Mizu Teppanyaki offers modern Japanese cuisine and a teppanyaki bar, and international cuisine is offered poolside at Whale.

Oasis Bar provides afternoon tea, and snacks are available at Palm Bar, Whale Pool Lounge & Bar, Delfim Bar, Garden Bar and Café Bica. Manzar Terrace has 360-degree views, and on select days in summer, you can dance the night away at V-Club Disco. Please note, each outlet is subject to individual operating schedules.
