Hit the water sports centre, Float, to embrace an array of adrenaline-fueled activities, such as jet skiing, water skiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing and more. Non-motorised water sports, including kayaking and snorkelling, are complimentary – while scuba diving tours and motorised water sports are available for a supplementary charge. You can also visit the Surf Shack to improve your surf skills with experts or head to the exclusive surfing spot at Play Island.

Other recreational facilities include a laidback entertainment zone with a PS4, Xbox 360, ping pong table, pool table and more.  Set overlooking the Indian Ocean, The Lair lounge is the perfect spot to read a book, or browse the internet. Otherwise, there’s a well-equipped fitness centre, where you can book private classes for body sculpting, Pilates, and aqua aerobics (supplementary charges apply). Instructors lead teen fitness sessions and children’s Zumba classes, too. Outdoors, you can cycle around the islands on a bike, spend time on the tennis court or find a tranquil space for a morning yoga session.

Children between the ages of 3 and 12 can participate in a range of supervised activities at the Explorers Kids Club, which features a colourful outdoor area with a playground, trampoline and splash park. Kids can learn how to cook in the little gourmet kitchen, perform on the mini stage and embark on guided wildlife tours. Professional childcare is also available for infants (between 12 and 24 months old), for a supplement charge.

Embrace a slower pace around the resort’s infinity pool, or visit the Drift Spa, set overlooking the turquoise lagoon. The gorgeous spa features a tranquil relaxation garden with a sauna, juice bar, steam baths, plunge pools and hot tubs, as well as six treatment rooms with ocean views. There are also two exclusive treatment sanctuaries with private gardens, outdoor bathtubs, rainfall showers and daybeds. You can book signature treatments in the day or night, including those which incorporate bespoke products by Codage. Other treatments feature local ingredients, like Maldivian coral sand and coconut oil, and specialist spa treatments cater for families and children.

In the evenings, you can listen to live music at Fahrenheit bar, watch a movie on the beach or attend a special glow party at the impressive underwater restaurant.

Set beside the infinity pool, Epicure is a casual, family-friendly restaurant. You can start the day here with a choice of fruit platters, fresh pastries, waffles, omelettes, pancakes and ‘super food’ dishes. The lunch and dinner menus incorporate local and international dishes, ranging from truffle-infused risottos to spicy seafood curries. All-day dining is also available at Dune, the open-air beach club, and Blu, which serves Mediterranean-inspired fare and ice creams beside the pool. Otherwise, you can order grab-and-go snacks from The Deli, including antipasti, paninis, ice creams and smoothies.

Dine at Nest, a fabulous Asian-themed restaurant in the treetops, or follow the torch lights to Tribal, where you can savour African and South American delicacies on the beach. A speedboat ride will bring you to the floating fine-dining restaurant, Edge, where you can feast on gourmet dishes above the mesmerising ocean. Below this restaurant, six metres beneath the ocean’s surface, you’ll find the incredible Subsix, which hosts Champagne breakfasts, special lunches, weekly glow parties, wine tastings and occasional destination dinners. Surrounded by glass walls, you’ll be immersed in the dazzling underwater world of the Dhaalu Atoll. After dinner, head to the chic rooftop bar to enjoy speciality cocktails and live music overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Those seeking a little more privacy can enjoy in-villa dining or book a destination dining experience (these special dining experiences are on offer for a supplementary charge).

If you’re staying on half board, breakfast and dinner are available at Epicure or BLU, subject to restaurant operations. Diner incudes appetisers and one main course or one main course and two desserts. A USD 70 (net) food credit per adult, per night is available for dinner at Tribal, Nest and Edge. Still water, tea and coffee are included during meal service. Please note that the dine around credit is not valid for In-Villa Dining, Subsix, The Deli, Food Truck and Destination Dining.

All children below the age of 12-years can enjoy daily complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner in all restaurants (orders must be made from the kids' menu only and this offer excludes Subsix).
