Madinat Jumeriah is a prestigious resort, comprising three luxury beachside hotels nestled among sprawling, stunning grounds. It has a unique feel, which is enhanced by features such as the romantic waterway which is used to ferry guests around the grounds. Jumeirah Al Qasr-Madinat Jumeirah has a peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. Staying here feels like escaping into an oasis, despite its well-connected location.
Al Qasr, which literally translates as 'the Palace', was designed to reflect a Sheikh's summer residence and is light in colour and elevated to emphasise its splendour. The hotel is situated on the famous Jumeirah beach overlooking the white sands of the Gulf Coast. It is approximately half an hour's drive from Dubai International Airport and about 10 minutes from Dubai city and Dubai Media City. Some of Dubai's best attractions are nearby, including several shopping malls, Burj Al Arab and Wild Wadi Water Park.
The level of service at the resort is excellent, with a ratio of three members of staff to every guest. Jumeriah Al Qasr is located in the centre of the resort and has spacious rooms, furnished in Arabian styles, in keeping with the traditional palatial theme. Khaymat Al Bahar or ‘tent on the beach’ serves the beach and pool, while Pierchic offers fine seafood on the pier, in one of the most romantic settings in the city. The Koubba Bar is a stylish rooftop bar in Arabesque ambience, serving a wide variety of drinks and snacks.
