This luxurious resort occupies 60 acres of woodland on the east coast of Corfu with direct access to a 420-metre stretch of beach. Use your included day of Tesla car hire to travel further afoot, perhaps journeying nine miles into Old Town Corfu. The 390 rooms, suites and bungalows are arranged in low-rise buildings, with floor-to-ceiling windows which bathe them in light. Families can also take advantage of the 30 minutes childcare by the pools and the beach, so parents can enjoy some well-deserved down time.
Up your cardio in the gym or join a group for aerobics and Zumba classes. Play five-a-side football or improve your skills at the football and tennis academies. For a gentler activity, partake in yoga, Pilates and stretching sessions, or power beach walks. Borrow a mountain bike to explore the local woodland tracks or simply spot wildlife with the family.
Boost your beachside experience at the water sports centre with 20 minutes of included canoe, pedalo and paddleboard hire For a supplementary charge, you can book Ringo rides, boat trips and activities, such as windsurfing, water skiing and parasailing. Alternatively, hire a yacht or arrange scuba lessons (the first intro lesson is free). Tune into nightly entertainment (from May to September) to catch theatrical shows, children’s entertainers, live music and parties.
Pushchair rental, children’s menus in all restaurants and a dedicated playground make family holidays a breeze. Little ones will gravitate to the dedicated kids’ and teens’ club activities. While you relax, they can try their hand at arts and crafts, science experiments, cooking, sports and outdoor games. Other dinner options include tapas and Spanish platters at Olivia or spicy curries and fragrant noodle dishes from Asian restaurant Anaya – ask the sommelier to select the perfectly paired wine in any restaurant. As the day ends, kick back with a cocktail in hand at Greek restaurant Elia, which gazes over the Ionian Sea.
