The hotel offers an excellent choice of sports activities within the all-inclusive plan. There is a nine-hole golf course, with free green fees. You can keep fit in the 150 m2 'Technogym' fitness room or play a game of tennis. You can also head to the water sports school to enjoy the kayaks, pedal boats and paddle boards, hobie cats and lasers, or have a go at windsurfing. If you'd prefer you can always stick to snorkelling – Turtle Bay is the first Marine National Park in Mauritius with a well-preserved underwater life and there are excellent snorkelling areas right off the beach. Or enjoy the scenery from the comfort of a glass bottom boat trip.

Maritim Tropical Flower Spa is nestled amongst the hotel's 25-hectare garden. Listen to the sound of cascading waterfalls and island birds in this oasis of tranquillity. There are a variety of treatments, including beauty rituals from the French aromatherapy brand Decléor, aimed at promoting relaxation and wellbeing including tailor-made masks and creams from a mix of tropical flowers, other plants, natural oils and scents. With a total of 12 treatment cabins including an Ayurveda cabin,  a dry massage pavilion, a hair salon, a stunning relaxation area behind a romantic waterfall, a state-of-the-art wet area (including whirlpool, saunas and hammam) you will be transferred into a realm of tropical beauty and wellbeing.

Children's activities are provided through the kids' club. Available for ages 3-11, it offers a good variety, including its own pool, with a mushroom feature, and planned events such as such as fishing on the river. Babysitters are available on request (with 24 hours’ notice) for a small fee. The estate is also great for exploring historical ruins, waterfalls, a river and enjoying outdoor games and the playground. You should also expect to find an animal farm and a Giant Tortoise park at the resort.

Belle Vue is the main restaurant serving buffet breakfast or international buffet for lunch and dinner, complemented by live cooking stations. Anno 1743 Brasserie Style Restaurant serves rustic cuisine to match its historical ruin setting. La Marée Beach Bar and Restaurant is located right on the beach and specialises in a delicious selection of seafood and dishes grilled to perfection. Le Banyan Asian Fusion Restaurant overlooks the bay and a centenary banyan tree, try the unforgettable teppanyaki experience. Les Filaos beach BBQ Restaurant is inspired by the German beer gardens – this barefoot, ‘feet in the sand’ setting is surrounded by filaos trees and provides the perfect spot for a BBQ. Lakaz Kreol Mauritian Table D’hôtes offers an authentic Mauritian Creole four-course dining in a secluded area. Chateau Mon Desir Fine Dining Restaurant pampers you with its gourmet dinner menu, popular high tea every Saturday or brunch every Sunday. There are also several bars to keep you refreshed – the Quarter Deck Bar, The Distillery, with the biggest rum collection in Mauritius, and The Nest rooftop bar, in addition to a poolside and beach bar service.

If you're staying on a half-board basis, you can dine in the main restaurant Belle Vue for dinner. You can also enjoy a set menu dinner or dining credit to use against items on the a la carte menus in the other restaurants.

The dress code is elegant casual dress and long trousers in the evening for men, no denim or flip flops permitted in some restaurants.
