Perched on Corfu’s east coastline, the hotel overlooks a sand and shingle beach with a wooden sun deck leading to the sea. There are a few tavernas and souvenir shops in the vicinity, or you can visit the relaxed towns of Moraitika and Benitses, both less than three miles away. Corfu Town is 12 miles north, worth a visit for its historic lanes, Venetian architecture and towering fortress overlooking the sea. Corfu International Airport is 11 miles from the hotel.

The main freshwater pool invites families and those who like to keep active to splash around, while the adjacent saltwater infinity pool offers a quieter setting. Both are surrounded by cushioned sun loungers, with drinks and snacks available from the nearby pool bar. A bridge leads to a relaxing terrace, which provides some of the resort’s best views. Set slightly away from the pool area, it is often quieter, making it a great space to kick back with a book.

Located at the top of the resort, Anemelia Water Park offers activities for the entire family. Little ones can unleash their energy on the swirling waterslides, with options for all ages. Meanwhile, adults can relax beside the infinity pool, soaking up sweeping views across the resort and sea with a cocktail in hand.

The beach can be accessed via an under-road tunnel or down a hilly pathway lined with greenery and blossoming oleanders. Choose a spot on the wooden deck area where you can plunge directly into the turquoise water, or relax on the shingly beach which gently slopes into the shallows – ideal in the afternoon when the sun dips behind the trees. There’s also a water sports centre offering 30-minutes’ complimentary canoe, pedalo or paddleboard per day, as well as sun loungers, towels, a snack canteen and drinks service – allowing you to savour lemonades, daiquiris and snacks by the water’s edge.

MarBella Corfu has partnered with WorldWide Kids, offering activities for children aged 4 months to 15 years. This includes a complimentary kids’ club for ages 4 to 12 years, a teens’ club and a chargeable creche for children over four months. Sessions are hosted in the air-conditioned playroom or the shaded play area and include arts, crafts, sensory play, treasure hunts and games.

At the spa and wellness centre, indulge in a pampering body massage or unwind with a revitalising facial. All treatments use products by luxury French skincare brand Sothys. Away from the spa, opt for a game of tennis or take advantage of full fitness programmes provided in partnership with WellCo Fitness. Activities can be booked through the hotel app.

With bars by the beach, main pool and water park, you’ll never be far from a refreshing drink. Plus, for those wanting to stay by the pool or beach, there’s a canteen serving casual fare and a help-yourself ice cream fridge.

Throughout the day, retreat to Belvedere Bar’s cool interiors or settle onto the sea-view terrace for a leisurely drink. Adjacent to Belvedere, M-Bar becomes the social hub after dark. Sip your way through its extensive cocktail menu while enjoying a varied programme of evening entertainment, including traditional Greek folk performances, jazz musicians and pop acts – there's even a dedicated games area for teenagers. Eleonas Cocktail Bar offers a quieter, adults-focused escape, surrounded by Mediterranean planting. It's the perfect place to linger over a pina colada while gazing across the olive trees towards the shimmering sea.
