Situated in the Medieval village of Megalohori, the hotel sits close to archaeological sites such as Akrotiri and Fira, as well as the black sand beach of Perivolos, Red Beach and other remarkable sights of Santorini. You can make use of the daily shuttle to Perivolos. Vedema a Luxury Collection Resort also sits within the areas wine country - one of the hotel’s restaurants is housed within the 400-year-old winery.
The expansive accommodation sits within low-rise, handcrafted houses inspired by the indigenous Megalohori architecture, with stone walls. They feature their own patio or terrace and provide traditional hand crafted pieces. They feature exclusive artwork in each. The hotel is an all-suite resort, meaning more space and luxury for guests. Upgrade your suite and enjoy a private Jacuzzi or pool.
A spacious pool area is perfect for families to enjoy, surrounded by colourful gardens and patio. The hotel provides private beach facilities for guests. There is an open-air Jacuzzi, a spa and a gym.
You are welcomed with produce from the surrounding vineyards when arriving at the hotel. Locally sourced food is grown using nutrient-rich volcanic soil and the Mediterranean climate to create distinctive tastes in the farm-to-table gastronomy on offer at the hotel. The hotel has its own organic vegetable garden which feeds the three restaurants too. Sit poolside at Pergola, dine within the old winery at Alati or try a cooking class where you can learn to prepare and cook delicious Greek meals. Private dining is available to book in advance.
