El Fuerte Marbella is a beachfront property close to the old town of Marbella. Surrounded by gardens, it's a tranquil escape, offering a selection of gastronomy and sea views. As well as the beach, the hotel provides three seasonal pools, including one for all guests, one for adults-only and an adults-recommended pool on the rooftop, joined by a chic bar and stunning views of the old town and Sierra Blanca.
Facing the sea, the hotel is separated from the beach by a promenade and is just over half a mile from Marbella’s Old Town, packed with restaurants, cafes and shops. Marbella’s modern centre is even closer, offering a host of the nightlife that the area is known for. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is 33 miles away.
El Fuerte Marbella provides an oasis just outside of the city, set in 4000 m2 of gardens. Inside, you’ll find art aplenty, with exhibitions changing every few months, as well as fashion-forward common areas and chic accommodation with coral tones and marble touches. You’ll find a pool situated in the west building and a second pool in the east building (seasonal opening). The second pool is exclusively for adults from June to September but welcome to all for the rest of the year - it's also heated during the colder months (not covered). There’s also an additional adults-recommended infinity pool at the rooftop (Levante building, 7th floor, open seasonally). If you’ve forgotten some holiday reading, borrow a book from the library – or stay a while and cool off with a new read.
Afterwards, visit the El Fuerte Spa by Clarins, offering a dynamic pool, relaxing pool, sauna, Turkish bath, sensation showers and of course, a menu of treatments using products by world-renowned brand, Clarins. A gym provides sea views. Spa admission is strictly for those age 16+.
Not just a haven for adults, a kids’ club provides entertainment for those aged 4 to 12 (opening times vary depending on season).

A handful of tempting eateries provide plenty of choice, as well as vegetarian, vegan and halal options. Le Marche offers a classic buffet breakfast in the mornings, while Levante offers healthy cuisine inspired by seasonal Andalusian ingredients, as well as international offerings, including sandwiches. It’s also attached to a seasonal pool bar, serving refreshments poolside. For Mediterranean dishes from paellas to fried seafood, head to Soleo Marbella open from midday until late evening (varies by season). Take a seat at Kena by Akiro, a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant, located on the rooftop offering stunning views.
Coffee lovers can retreat to Qahwa coffee house for blends from local micro-roasters, as well as a choice of infusions and sweet and savoury snacks.
Reservations are required for restaurants.
Half board includes buffet breakfast and dinner a la carte. Drinks are not included.
