Cavo Maris Beach is a stylish hotel on an unspoilt beach in Protaras, on Cyprus’ south east coast. The hotel offers a generous premium all-inclusive plan – well as a standard all inclusive plan, a wide selection of activities, including water sports, and a spa. Its range of children’s facilities includes play areas and a kids’ club.
This beachfront hotel is set amongst beautiful gardens with terraces which run down to Nisia Loumbardi Beach. Awarded a Blue Flag, the fine golden sand and crystal-clear shallow water make this beach perfect for families. The nearby town centre of Protaras has an abundance of beaches, restaurants and shops. Meanwhile, Ayia Napa is just under seven miles from the hotel and home to churches and museums, plus an infamous party scene. A local bus stop is situated at the entrance of the hotel for guests to visit Paralimni Town, Ayia Napa, Larnaca and Nicosia. The protected Cape Greco national park, just under four miles away, is well worth a visit for hiking, cycling, bird watching and scuba diving. Larnaca International Airport is approximately 40 miles away from the hotel.
The hotel offers a good selection of spacious rooms, all equipped with a furnished balcony, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, electronic safe, and coffee and tea making facilities. They are modern and stylish in decoration with either sea, side sea or inland views. Family Rooms come with additional space and four full size beds while Elite Family Suites feature two bathrooms, each with a rain shower.

The hotel offers an abundance of facilities and activities to suit the whole family. There are four pools in total to float between. The main outdoor pool is heated during the cooler months and comes complete with a swim-up bar. Plus, you'll find one indoor pool at the spa, an infant pool and a large children’s pool – all of which are heated in the winter months too. In front of the hotel is the beautiful beach, awarded a Blue Flag. Take a dip in the clear, shallow Mediterranean Sea or try your hand at water skiing, wind surfing or scuba diving, organised by the local water sports centre for an extra charge.
Sports activities include tennis on two floodlit courts, basketball, water gym and water polo. Plus, the hotel also offers coin-operated games and rides. For rejuvenation, head to the Vitality Spa & Wellness Centre, which features an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, relaxation room and three treatment rooms. You’ll also find a fully equipped fitness centre and hair salon here. Both indoor pool and the gym need to be pre-booked.
Cavo Maris Beach also provides excellent facilities for little ones, too, including the Cavo Kids’ Club for children aged between 4 and 12 years old and indoor and outdoor play areas. Kids will also enjoy the children’s menu corner, cinema, mini golf and disco.

There are five on-site restaurants, two cafes and three bars at Cavo Maris Beach. Start your day at Alkion Restaurant for a delicious breakfast, buffet lunch or dinner – regular theme nights are held serving dishes from around the world. For a delicious selection of burgers and light meals, head to the secluded Argo Burger Bistro, which overlooks the hotel’s gardens with views out to the sea. H Taverna, a traditional restaurant serves Cypriot and Greek dishes offering a la carte lunch and meze dinner.
The Stone Grill Restaurant is a great, interactive dinner time alternative, where meals are cooked on a heated stone at your table. There’s also a Seaweed Sushi Bar (open for dinner) and a traditional Kafeneion (cafe), serving ouzo with meze or Cypriot sweets and coffees. There’s a gelateria and creperie too. Alternatively relax in Coral Lobby Bar, or grab a swim-up refreshment at Sirena Swim-Up Cocktail Bar.
