Located just 400 metres from the beach, Philoxenia Hotel invites you to experience authentic Greek hospitality in a modern environment. Bordered by lush pine forests and coastal waters, the peaceful hotel boasts stylish accommodation and calming views. The contemporary facilities include a couple of restaurants, a poolside bar, a kids’ club and a large pool – complete with a shallow section for children. Philoxenia Hotel is perched on a hillside, between the Sithonia peninsula and the Psakoudia settlement. You can stroll through the pine forests to reach Psakoudia Beach, less than 400 metres away, or spend a day on the golden shores of Kalyves Beach, around five and a half miles away. Guests staying at the hotel will receive a discount at the Pasir Beach Bar, and there a variety of beach restaurants in this area. The bustling fishing town of Nea Moudania is about 13 miles away, as is the capital of Halkidiki – Polygyros. The large city of Thessaloniki lies about 46 miles to the north west, while Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia is 41 miles from the hotel.
The hotel’s rooms are tastefully decorated in a minimalist style, with light-wood furniture and tiled floors. The double rooms with bunk beds are ideal for hosting families of four, and Double Pool View rooms offer exclusive access to a shared swimming pool. Parties of up to three can upgrade to a Superior room for additional space – which includes a private balcony or terrace overlooking the forest. All rooms feature a mini-fridge, kettle and flat-screen TV, and there’s a daily fee for in-room Wi-Fi.

The main freshwater pool lies opposite the poolside bar, allowing you to order snacks and refreshments in between sunbathing. Outlining the pool, attractive olive trees and palm trees create shady areas, and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. A children’s pool is next to the main pool, and a third pool is available, exclusively for those staying in pool view rooms.
In the daytime, a variety of activities are available, including sailing, water skiing, cycling and Zumba classes. During your stay, you can indulge in a spot of self-care at the Philoxenia’s wellness area, where you’ll find a small gym, sauna and hammam (all-inclusive guests can use the sauna and hammam free of charge). The seasonal kids’ club entertains children between the ages of 4 and 12 years old, with an open-air play area and an animation team that promotes creative activities such as pool games, team challenges and arts and crafts.

In the evenings, the bar’s vibrant atmosphere is enhanced by live music and performances. For a relaxed meal, dine at Symposion. This restaurant uses local, organic produce and provides Greek and international specialities for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh local ingredients include honey, olives, cheeses, wines and herbs from the hotel’s gardens. The Kukunari restaurant also offers an a la carte menu of authentic Greek and Italian dishes, set against the enchanting backdrop of the pine forest.
