There are two outdoor heated swimming pools. The main pool is located amongst the tropical gardens, a smaller adult-only pool can be found in the middle of the banana plantation. You can also retreat to the large library for a peaceful pause – internet access here keeps you connected.

The Health Club and Spa has a gym with training equipment, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam bath and a relaxation room. Unwind and enjoy access to the health club free of charge, or upgrade and pay for one of the beauty treatments at the spa – you’ll need to book in advance to secure your appointment time.

Over at Casa da Quinta Restaurant & Bar, enjoy leisurely bistro-style lunches and delicious dinners (reservations required). This spot serves up a menu of international a la carte dishes in style. For something more refined, The Dining Room Restaurant is your go-to. Here, the flavours of Madeira take centre stage and fresh produce from the hotel's own farm anchor each dish. There's no a la carte menu here, just a thoughtfully curated journey of taste. This intimate dining experience is open exclusively in the evenings, from Tuesday to Saturday, and reservations are required.

Sip pre- or post-dinner drinks at Casa da Quinta Bar. Spilling out onto an open terrace, with outstanding views across the gardens of the estate, it's a slice of paradise. Settle in with a signature swill or a glass of local red.

Upgrade to half board to enjoy a three-course, set menu dinner at Casa da Quinta Restaurant & Bar. Please note that drinks are not included and reservations are required.
