Designed to offer wonderful views across the Adriatic Sea, the main seasonal freshwater pool is situated on a clifftop terrace. Here you will find a vast sunbathing platform with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas which are complimentary – although there is no direct beach access. A small seasonal fresh water children’s pool is close by and you can take advantage of seasonal poolside service.

If you fancy a break from the sun, head indoors to the spa where you’ll find a sleek, oval-shaped heated swimming pool with a Jacuzzi. The Anjana Spa occupies two floors, offering a Turkish bath, sauna, steam room, salt room, ice room, a tropical shower and a relaxation room (all can be used free of charge) – Plus, a tea station with over 100 quality teas. There are also a wide range of signature treatments available (for an additional charge), all of which use local, organic products — including blends of essential oils, such as pine, rosemary and lavender.

If you’re feeling active, there's a fitness centre which is equipped with Technogym exercise machines and free weights. Kids are well catered for, too, as children under the age of seven years old stay free of charge, and there’s a seasonal children’s pool, a playroom with a foosball and a ping-pong table. In high season you can enjoy live entertainment too.

The hotel’s concierge offers a range of excursions, giving you the chance to fully explore Dubrovnik. Water sport activities, including diving and kayaking, are also available to book. Alternatively, the Merit Casino next door might tempt those who want to try their luck at blackjack, roulette or the slot machines.

Choose a light lunch at Libertas Beach Snack Bar (open seasonally) – with beautiful sea views, it’s the perfect spot to savour light bites, refreshments and cocktails. Return to Turquoise Restaurant in the evening for themed dinners, from Dalmatian specialities to appetizing Mediterranean fare and global cuisine, along with a selection of local and international wines.

For fine dining, try Libertas Fish Restaurant, a romantic, open-air venue which overlooks the Adriatic Sea (open seasonally, reservations required). Relish fine local wines and freshly prepared fish or seafood dishes, all of which are enhanced by local Mediterranean ingredients. Otherwise, there’s Umi Teppanyaki, an Asian restaurant which offers an unforgettable dining experience with a show cooking concept (reservations required).

Head to the Patisserie for sweet treats and desserts throughout the day and order refreshments and signature cocktails from the Libertas Terrace & Lobby Bar, overlooking Lokrum Island. Drinks are also served in the Sports Bar during the evening, where you can catch up on the latest sporting events.
