Friday Attitude is a family-friendly beachfront hotel with relaxed Mauritian vibes. You can spend your days on the sands under a thatched parasol or cool off in the hotel pool, while young guests can escape at the kids’ club. Located on the eastern side of the island, the resort is in the quiet fishing village of Trou d’Eau Douce. Port Louis, Mauritius’ city centre, is 30 miles away on the opposite side of the island, and the popular hamlet of Belle Mare is just over three miles away. A bus stop located opposite the resort can whisk you away to the Centre de Flacq market. Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is 27 miles away.
The resort is made up of multiple buildings, connected by green spaces and palm-lined pathways. The simply decorated rooms feature open-plan bathrooms and lead out to a private balcony or terrace with garden views. Family Rooms feature a second bedroom and can sleep up to four. Rooms are free from single use plastic, with tea and coffees provided in refillable jars.

Ayo le Dodo kids’ club caters to guests aged 3 to 12, offering activities including sandcastle competitions, cooking workshops and gardening. Families can also request baby bathtubs, changing mats and cots. Baby food, a bottle warmer, highchairs and a kids’ corner in the main buffet are also provided.

90° East is the resort’s main restaurant, sat on the edge of the beach, serving a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Taste Mauritian cuisine served tapas-style at Kot Nou, and enjoy Mauritian street food at Taba-J – a street food truck which serves local favourites to takeaway, including pepper cakes, rotis and dumplings. Two bars, one providing sega music, and the other providing swing seats in the sand, offer refreshments.
