There are two heated swimming pools outdoor, surrounded by palm trees, cabanas and sun loungers. This includes the main social pool and the lively Xcelerate party pool with a ping pong table and fitness classes. You’ll also find several hot tubs, including a giant whirlpool tub which can accommodate up to 35 people, and you can lounge beneath a palapa-style umbrella on the beach.

The resort organises various weekly events, ranging from champagne carnivals to beach parties. Live nightly entertainment is provided, too, covering band performances, karaoke competitions, casino nights and more.

You can also retreat to the Spa by Pevonia, which houses 14 treatment cabins, a hydrotherapy circuit, a beauty salon and a juice bar. The spa menu features an extensive range of massages, body wraps, facials and beauty treatments, all of which are available for a supplementary charge. Other wellness facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre and a volleyball court, and you can enjoy complimentary non-motorised water sports, dance classes, water aerobics and ping pong.

Dining options include five a la carte restaurants, a tapas bar, a buffet-style restaurant, a grill on the beach and a cafe. The stylish Spoon restaurant provides four buffet service stations with a variety of local and international dishes. If you fancy something lighter, you can head to Bites to enjoy tapas-style dishes overlooking the pool and Caribbean Sea, or you can stop by The Nook Café for premium coffee and pastries. Otherwise, the laidback Barefoot Grill is the place to go for burgers, wood-fired pizza and snacks on the beach. 

In the evening, you can savour a la carte French cuisine at Coquette, Italian specialities at Spumante or succulent grilled steaks at The Strip Grill which overlooks the beach. Meanwhile, Picante specialises in authentic Mexican fare, while Silk City serves up pan-Asian delicacies in an elegant setting.

You can order drinks at nine bars and lounges, including a swim-up bar, beach bar, sophisticated cocktail bar and a nightclub. Meanwhile, a Champagne bar is available for a supplementary charge and the Xhale Club Lounge remains exclusive for those staying in Xhale Suites.

As part of the ‘Sip, Savor & See programme’, you can enjoy a complimentary dinner, drinks and live evening entertainment at a nearby sister resort. Participating nearby resorts include six Secrets properties, nine Dreams resorts, one Now resort and one other Breathless resort, Sunscape Akumal Beach and Sunscape Sabor Cozumel. The concierge team can help organise your experience, although you’ll be responsible for all transport costs.

There is an ‘casual elegant’ dress code at most a la carte restaurants. Therefore, men should wear long trousers and a shirt with sleeves, and flip-flops are not permitted. At Spumante, you should adhere to the formal dress code, which requires men to wear full-length trousers, collared shirts and dress shoes. Please note that the number of restaurants open is dependent upon occupancy level.
