You’re only five minutes from the closest ski lift, transferring you to over 370 miles of ski runs for every type of skier – from 51 gentle greens to 32 exhilarating black runs – and 238 runs in between. Although skiing is the main draw here, the resort itself has a lively, cosmopolitan vibe, attracting a fun-loving crowd willing to try a whole host of other activities, especially if you are travelling during the summer months. The accommodation is divided into three different categories, Superior, Deluxe and Suites, all of which deliver a high level of comfort and impeccable design – wrapped up in a liberal use of pine as is characteristic of ski resorts. All categories offer interconnecting rooms and are beautifully decorated in soft creams and warming taupe, furnished with a carved, oval headboard and pink cushions and runners. Rooms are flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows which overlook the breathtaking mountainside. Standard in-room facilities include a flat-screen TV, an iron and ironing board, a safety deposit box and tea and coffee making facilities.
