This four-star, waterfront hotel provides a great base for exploring the city, via the nearby train station. It is close to the Fisketorvet shopping mall and cinema and has a superb restaurant.
Sitting on the waterfront, on an artificial island of a waterfront area, Copenhagen Island enjoys a peaceful, central location. The hotel is walking distance to Tivoli Gardens and a ten-minute walk to the cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs of the Meatpacking District. Dybbolsbro train station is 450metres away and it is a one mile walk to the central station, or one stop on the train. The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek and City Museum are about a mile way and Stroeget, the main shopping street, are about two and a half miles away.

The lobby is modern, with high ceilings and blue glass squares in a greenhouse structure overlooking the water – it has several seating areas, and there is also an outdoor waterfront terrace. You can rent bikes to explore the area, or head over the Ponte Vecchio-inspired bridge to the harbour. If you are exploring by car, parking is provided on site and can be paid locally. Alternatively, the hotel staff sell tickets to Tivoli, canal boat trips and city tour buses.
