Flights that you book using Avios are called Reward Flights. You can book to any worldwide destination, where there’s availability, with British Airways and our oneworld® partners.
You pay with your Avios plus a cash amount for taxes, fees and carrier charges.

Spending Avios FAQs
You can reduce the cash price of your flight with as little as 1,000 Avios. Or book a Reward Flight and use Avios to cover your fare leaving you with just the taxes, fees and carrier charges to pay. You can also book flights with our Reward Flight Saver – pay a fixed cash cost, inclusive of taxes, fees and carrier charges, plus an Avios amount.
This is dependent on your date of travel, destination and travel class. Use our Reward Flight Finder to search for available dates and flights. You can also redeem your Avios on hotels, car hires and more.
You can spend your Avios on Reward Flights to any worldwide destination, vacations with British Airways*, seat upgrades, hotel stays, car rentals and more.
You can also reduce the price of regular flight or vacation* bookings by paying part of the price in Avios. The more Avios you use, the less you have to pay.
You can upgrade to business (Club World) using Avios when you book or later on by logging into Manage My Booking, depending on availability.
The Avios amount required for the upgrade is based on the Avios costs for Reward Flights in the cabins you’re upgrading from and to and will depend on whether your flight is scheduled on a peak or off-peak date.
You can fly to any destination in the British Airways network, or to those destinations our oneworld partners fly to.

To book a flight using Avios follow the Book a flight with Avios link on ba.com. You will need to log into your Executive Club account and search for your desired date and destination.
You can book a British Airways flight with Avios by logging in with your membership number and using our interactive Flight Finder.
You can book a British Airways vacation with Avios by logging in with your membership number and searching for Flight + Hotel or Flight + Car.
You can buy up to 200,000 Avios per calendar year as a gift, outside of your own annual allowance.
