The property lies in the small resort area of Puerto Aventuras, which is known for its large marina, golf course, white sandy beaches and sprinkling of restaurants and bars. You can enjoy a wealth of outdoor activities at the eco-archaeological Xcaret Park, around 11 miles away, or explore the coastal resort town of Playa Del Carmen, around a 20 minute drive away. The ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum are also located around 26 miles away, beside the dreamy Caribbean coastline. You can reach the lively centre of Cancun in 56 miles and Cancun International Airport in 48 miles.

Other facilities

You can also cool off in the natural saltwater pool on the beach or at the beachside grill and separate bar. Whilst here, play beach volleyball, hit the waves in a kayak or catamaran or explore the underwater landscapes by snorkelling. Alternatively, lounge beneath a palapa-style umbrella, catch a big-screen movie during the evening or book a romantic beachside dining experience for an extra charge.
A variety of family-friendly facilites are on offer at the resort. Children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old can spend time at the supervised kids’ club, taking part in water games, treasure hunts, wall climbing and ocean trampolining. Meanwhile, teenagers can enjoy age-appropriate sports, games, weekly beach bonfires and evening discos at the Core Zone Teens Club.
To fully unwind, retreat to the Dreams Spa, which features a steam bath, sauna, outdoor hot tubs and a beauty salon. Dining information
The resort’s dining options cover five a la carte restaurants, an international buffet-style restaurant, a beachside grill and a laidback cafe. World Café serves popular buffet fare for breakfast and lunch, and hosts international theme nights. During the day, you can enjoy coffee and deli snacks from Coco Café and the Gelato Factory, or head to the Barefoot Grill to enjoy grilled treats and woodfired pizzas on the beach.
For dinner, you can savour Italian cuisine at the elegant Portofino restaurant, feast on a succulent steak at the Seaside Grill or head to El Patio for an authentic Mexican dining experience. There’s also Gohan, a contemporary sushi lounge which overlooks the Caribbean Sea. Preferred Club guests can also dine in Oceana for breakfast and lunch. This spot specialises in fresh seafood dishes.
You can order unlimited top-shelf spirits, wines, beers, cocktails and more in any of the four bars and lounges. As part of the ‘Sip, Savor and See’ offer, you can also enjoy drinks, dinner and live entertainment at nearby sister resorts during your stay – this includes a choice of four Dreams resorts. You can book up to four people per seating, and you’ll be responsible for the transportation costs to and from the resort. Please note, this offer is subject to availability.
Additional information
It’s advisable to book transfers in this destination. Transfers must be booked as additional items, for which separate vouchers will be required. Transportation costs to Riviera Maya Golf Club are also not included and golf experiences must be booked directly with the hotel.
There is a casual dress code at most dining venues. You can wear long shorts or capri trousers, trainers or sandals at all restaurants and bars, excluding Portofino. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up and men should avoid wearing sleeveless shirts. There is a formal dress code at the Italian-themed Portofino restaurant which requires men to wear full-length trousers, collared shirts and dress shoes. Women can wear blouses, skirts, trousers or dresses, with dress shoes.
