This all-inclusive, adult-only spa resort overlooks pristine white sands that many consider to be the island’s most beautiful. Sandals Grande St Lucian Spa & Beach Resort is situated on a peninsula that runs between Pigeon Island and Rodney Bay, cradled by the Caribbean Sea. It offers four pools, seven bars and 12 restaurants.
Located in the north of St Lucia in Gros Islet – an area known for its popular Friday night street parties which offer a wealth of local cuisine and music – the hotel enjoys spectacular forest-topped mountain views on one side, and the sheltered mile-long Pigeon Island beach on the other. It is a third of a mile from Pigeon Island National Park and Fort Rodney, and just under a mile from Rodney Bay. Hewanorra International Airport is just over 40 miles from the hotel – an approximate transfer time of one and a half hours.
Accommodation is arranged over four areas across the resort – the Caribbean Village is connected to the main resort buildings, the Swim-Up Lagoon Village is in front of the island’s mountains, Grande Rondovals are located at the edges of the resort, and additional bungalows are located atop the Caribbean Sea. All accommodation options benefit from stunning sea or garden views, air conditioning and king-size four-poster beds. Over-the-Water Honeymoon Butler Bungalows offer ultimate luxury, complete with direct sea access, an outdoor tub, over-water hammocks and glass floors panels, opening onto the backlit waters below. Or book a Beachfront Rondoval Suite and step outside onto your deck area, then slide into your private whirlpool or plunge pool while your personal butler brings you a cocktail.

Shoes or sandals should also be worn. Shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, hats, trainers, flip flops, and slippers are not deemed as appropriate resort evening attire.
In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) restaurant buffets will no longer be self-service. There will be thermal temperature screening procedures in place during check-in and prior to a treatment at the hotel’s spa. Sandals exchange privileges are suspended until further notice - you will not be able to travel to, and access facilities at neighbouring Sandals properties. Guests who have received both vaccinations at least 14 days prior to arrival will be permitted to use the exchange privileges although some restrictions will apply.
