The hotel is located in Sampieri, a beautiful old-fashioned marine village located near Scicli, in the Province of Ragusa of southern Sicily. Spend a day at Sampieri beach, a stunning stretch of unspoilt coastline, less than two and a half miles from the hotel – or take a trip to the picturesque town of Modica. Modica is known for its Baroque buildings and the Chocolate Museum, where you can explore the city's history of chocolate-making. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is approximately 80 miles from the hotel, while Palermo Airport is 184 miles away.
This modern hotel features 150 rooms, arranged in white, low-rise cottages on the ground or first floor. VOI Marsa Siclà Resort features a large swimming pool, measuring 1000 m2 with a children’s area, two swimming lanes and a solarium equipped with complimentary umbrellas, deck chairs, sun beds, tables and beach towels. You can can take a short walk to the beach or ride the complimentary shuttle, and spend your day relaxing on the loungers or dipping in the shallow water, which is perfect for little ones.
The large Thalasso Space, dedicated to wellness and relaxation, sits inside the resort. You must make a reservation to enjoy the indoor swimming pool, which is divided between individual heated saltwater pools and Kneipp paths with water jets to massage and relax the muscles. Meanwhile, children aged between 6 and 12 can join in organised activities at the beach or in the pool.
Dining information
There are two on-site restaurants at VOI Marsa Siclà Resort. Restaurant Il Baglio is located in the Club House, serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers a wide choice of hot, cold, sweet and savoury local and international dishes, as well as a choice of gluten-free and vegetarian options. Next to the main restaurant is Pizzeria Timilia. This Italian restaurant offers a wide choice of pizzas, cooked in a firewood oven (reservations required).
The pool bar directly overlooks the pool, serving late breakfasts with traditional Sicilian granitas. Lunchtime snacks, sandwiches and salads can be enjoyed on the veranda with live music in the evenings. Alternatively, Ossi di Seppia Beach Bar, located directly on the sand, is open for lunch, serving cold dishes, grilled vegetables, snacks, ice cream and fresh fruit.
The Half Board meal plan includes breakfast and dinner at the international buffet restaurant Il Baglio and water and soft drinks are included with meals. In addition, the Full Board meal plan includes lunch at Il Baglio or at the Beach Bar, Ossi di Seppia (reservations required).
