Casa De Campo Resort & Villas lies on the south-eastern coast of the Dominican Republic in La Romana. The area is well-known for its stunning beaches and tropical natural beauty. The resort itself feels like its own city with its internal main road and countless facilities. You’ll even receive your own personal golf cart to use during your stay. You can venture just beyond the shores to discover the idyllic beaches of the Catalina and Saona islands. The resort is about four miles from La Romana International Airport and 47 miles from Punta Cana International Airport.
The stylish rooms and suites feature contemporary design elements, such as monochrome furnishings and natural, stone tile floors. All include a private patio or balcony and come with a complimentary golf cart for personal use. Designed by the legendary Pete Dye, the courses include the acclaimed Teeth of the Dog course, Dye Fore and The Links. Practice your swing with leading golf instructors or use the TrackMan Simulator.
Other facilities include a racquet centre with 11 Har-Tru tennis courts, one hard surface tennis court, two padel tennis courts and four pickleball courts. You can participate in non-motorised water sports on the beach (such as kayaking and sailing), shop around the marina, or perfect your aim at the clay pigeon shooting centre.

Otherwise, explore the quaint streets of Altos de Chavon – the resort’s Mediterranean-style village – with its unique restaurants, craft shops and small archaeological museum. The resort also presents a movie theatre with three cinemas and a Grecian-style amphitheatre, which seats up to 5000 people.
There are also several kids’ clubs that appeal to different age groups. The toddlers’ club is for children between the ages of one and three years old, offering a supervised playground, arts and crafts tables, puppet shows and more. The La Vecindad Casa de Campo early education programme provides a fun and safe learning environment for preschool children. Older children can take part in a variety of organised activities such as treasure hunts, swimming lessons, pony rides and tennis matches, and there’s a full activity programme for teenagers, too. The Bonche 4 Teens zone features a billiard table, air hockey table, movie screenings and more. Additionally, the exciting Real Madrid Soccer Camp is bookable for a supplement.
Sun loungers adorn the soft white sand of Minitas Beach, and the Minitas Beach Club promises a relaxing atmosphere with exceptional waiter service. The club is home to an oceanfront restaurant, a massage pavilion and three pristine swimming pools – including a fabulous infinity pool with Caribbean Sea views. Enjoy the tranquillity of the adult-only area or splash around in the family-friendly pool. In addition to the pools at the Minitas Beach Club, there are two other pool areas within the resort.
Dining information
Discover an outstanding variety of dining options within the Casa de Campo Resort. Lago Restaurant serves a buffet spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers spectacular views over the Teeth of the Dog golf course. Immersed in a tropical beachfront setting, the chic Minitas Beach Club & Restaurant offers breakfast on the weekends, in addition to daily lunches and dinners (all for an additional cost). Their menu includes speciality house cocktails and light, casual fare such as burgers, pasta dishes, pizzas and flatbreads.
La Cana is a seasonal dinner restaurant, serving French-inspired fare in a sophisticated setting. If you’re looking for something lighter, head to the Brasa Food Truck for tasty street food bites, or the Massa Food Truck for fresh woodfire pizzas and flatbreads.
When you’re in Altos de Chavón, don’t miss the colourful Chilango Taqueria which specialises Mexican street food. La Piazatta is also nearby, offering a romantic atmosphere and traditionally prepared Italian cuisine – including a choice of handmade pastas.
In the evenings, dine al fresco at La Casita, eyeing the luxury yachts around the marina. Its Spanish-themed menu features a tempting selection of fresh local seafood and paella dishes. SBG is another elegant marina venue, available for a supplement charge. Here you will discover Mediterranean flair and occasional DJ sets or live band performances. You can also indulge in Peruvian cuisine at Causa, located in the marina, featuring the three main culinary styles of Peruvian food - Criollo, Nikkei and Chifa.

Additional information
The dress code is mostly casual, but swimsuits should not be worn when dining. The dress code in the La Caña and La Piazzetta restaurants is ‘casual elegance’ and requests that gentlemen wear collared shirts and long trousers.
