Located on the secluded island of Duck Key, mid-way down the Florida Keys, guests at the retreat can access the saltwater lagoon, surrounding sunny beaches, the Dolphin Connection program, as well as other activities that the 60-acre retreat offers. The location also allows easy access to Key West and Key Largo if you’re looking to explore the neighbouring areas.
The luxurious guest rooms and villas blend coastal inspired décor with a touch of tropical colour and enjoy inspiring views of the island or waterfront. Most rooms boast an oversized marble shower and roll-in showers are available for guests with limited mobility. Choose from one of three villages to stay in, from Harbor Village with a boat dock and a boardwalk which you can fish from, Marina Village to watch the fishing boats come back to the dock from your private balcony or lanai, or the Sunset Village hidden on the edge of the sea but within walking distance of the main resort amenities.
As well as five swimming pools, one exclusively for adults, snorkelling, sailing and sports activities, Hawks Cay resort has an entertainment room offering games consoles, and a football table. Younger guests aged between 5-12 can enjoy Camp Hawk weekends to explore even more activities. Adults can unwind in the spa offering locally-influenced signature treatments.
When hunger strikes, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Start your day off at Marketplace for freshly brewed coffee, a smoothie station and omelettes to order. For light bites during the day time try Tiki Grill, Oasis Cay and Coral Grill for hot sandwiches, burgers and snacks or grab a drink at the Island Time Coffee Bar in the lobby. Visit Angler & Ale to experience hook and cook dining, as well as cold draught beers and indulge in prime steak and seafood prepared by world class chefs at Sixty-One Prime.

• Coral Grill – perfect for families, offering a huge variety to please everyone from hot sandwiches, wraps and burgers to ice creams. Open 12:00-16:00 (hours vary seasonally)
• Tiki Grill – serving tropical cocktails and cold drinks as well as sandwiches and salads. Open 11:00-22:00
• Island Time Coffee Bar – for drinks in the lobby
• Boxed lunches – call to order a lunch to go. Lunches includes sandwiches, crisps, cookies, fruit and water. Order by 18:00 for collection the following morning at Island Time.
Additional information
You will be required to wear a face mask in all indoor public areas unless consuming food or beverages. Face masks are not required when outside if social distancing measures are maintained and you are not in contact with someone outside of your party.
In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) there will no valet parking available at this time. Restaurants will have limited capacity, so take away options will be available. Operating hours may also vary. Outdoor activities for children and families are available at Coral Cay. The sunset cruise, operated by Sole Water sports, and the resort tram will have a reduced capacity.
