A key highlight of the property is the vast and pristine free-form swimming pool which extends from the lobby area to the beach. Its swim up bar, lazy river and abundance of loungers make it the perfect spot to sunbathe and unwind. There are also plenty of manicured spaces on the property, such as the Zen Garden and Flamingo Lake, and of course, the stunning beachfront which is lined with palm trees. Here you can partake in a range of non-motorised water sports or recreational activities like beach volleyball, dance classes or ping pong. If you want to venture outside of the hotel, tours and excursions can be arranged at the concierge desk, including those to nearby islands and a variety of golf courses.

The resort is very family-friendly, offering the Explorers’ Club with its range of supervised, fun activities for kids aged 3 to 12 years old. There’s a sizeable playground area and mini water park which is outfitted with a large pirate ship and slide. Teens can chill out or enjoy daily activities in their own club, the Core Zone.

Adults will also be in their element with the on-site fitness centre, casino and first-class spa facilities. In the spa you’ll find a salon, Swedish saunas, steam rooms, a cold plunge pool and hydrotherapy area which has a large whirlpool. Outdoor massage opportunities, complete with glorious sea views, are available below a thatched palapa. Further options include the chance to reinvigorate with a high-pressure shower before unwinding in the lush Zen relaxation garden.

The resort is environmentally conscious, taking greener measures to improve their ecological footprint. You’ll find recycling bins in communal areas, biodegradable toiletries and there’s a towel and linen reuse programme in place.  

Dining information

Relish an array of delightful cuisines at Dreams Punta Cana. Dine at the French, Italian and Pan Asian a la carte restaurants and head to Oceana for a romantic seafood meal facing the oceanfront. La Trattoria is a more casual pizzeria restaurant, offering alfresco dining with stunning beach views. There’s also the Barefoot Grill which serves afternoon grilled treats by the beach, the casual cafe for snacks and coffee and World Café where you’ll find an extensive international buffet. Refresh at the tropical fruit market by the pool and make the most of the various lounges, swim up bars and music bars scattered around the property (there are nine bars in total).

Restaurants do not require reservations. As part of the perks of Unlimited Luxury, guests can enjoy the Sip, Savor & See dining experience at select participating properties. Sip, Savor & See includes the option to dine and enjoy evening entertainment at neighbouring Dreams or Now properties, including: Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana, Dreams Dominicus La Romana, Now Larimar Punta Cana and Now Onyx Punta Cana. 

Additional information

Most restaurants have a casual dress code. This means that you can wear long shorts, sandals and trainers. Swimwear must remain covered, and men should wear shirts with sleeves. The formal dress code at Bordeaux means that men are expected to wear full-length trousers, collared shirts and dress shoes. Women can wear blouses, shirts, trousers or dresses with dress shoes.
