Tucked away on Bodrum peninsula’s northern coast, OKU Bodrum is backed by rugged mountains and looks out onto the Aegean Sea. The equally pretty resort town of Yalikavak Marina is eight miles away. Here, swanky shops, fine dining restaurants and bright white yachts set the scene. Meanwhile, 17 miles away lies Bodrum. Explore the winding old town lanes, haggle in souvenir shops or simply retreat to St Peter’s Castle on the shore for good old-fashioned sea views. Milas-Bodrum Airport is a 32-mile journey from the hotel.

If you’re after something more sophisticated, head to Teyo for an exciting combination of Japanese and South American cuisine – all served al fresco and with plenty of fine dining flair.
