If you have travelled internationally, you may be required to complete a local customs declaration form before we can return your bag.
If you were asked to do this before leaving the airport, you do not need to take any further action. In all other circumstances, please see the guidance below.
If your flight was cancelled after you checked your bag in and you are now waiting for it to be returned to you from the departure airport, you do not need to make a customs declaration.
If you flew on a UK domestic flight, you do not need to make a customs declaration.
If you flew from one EU country to another, including the UK, you do not need to make a customs declaration.
If your journey to the UK originated from outside of the EU, you must complete and return the following form to enable us to clear your bag through customs and return it to you, otherwise your bags may be delayed at customs. Please include your missing baggage report number on the form.
Please fax the completed and signed form to the arrival airport where you expected to collect your bags.

Bringing goods into the UK
If your baggage contains goods over the limits of what you may bring into the UK, you will need to declare your goods through the RED channel at the airport in person. We will contact you when we have located your bags so that you can do this. We cannot do this on your behalf.
