Whether its beer or coffee you’re looking for, Glasgow’s East End is the place for you. Head to Tennent’s Wellpark Brewery for a tour of the brewery which makes Scotland’s favourite pint, or to the local favourite Dear Green Coffee Roasters for a delicious brew.
Glasgow's public spaces are a pleasure to explore during the long summer days. In Kelvingrove Park, stroll along walking trails and admire statues dotted throughout the park, and look out for the West End’s impressive gothic University of Glasgow buildings.
Don’t miss exciting music festivals this summer as the Glasgow Jazz Festival takes place from 19 – 23 June 2019 across the city. Or, if bagpipe music is more your thing, Piping Live! celebrates the traditional sounds of the pipes with a variety of performances from 10 – 18 August 2019.
