Meet Global Brand Ambassador Emma Raducanu

Tennis superstar and British Airways Global Brand Ambassador Emma Raducanu continues on the next stage of her worldwide tennis career.

We're proud to announce Emma Raducanu as the newest British Airways Global Ambassador.

In September 2021, age 18, Emma became the first British woman to win the US Open women's singles since 1977, catapulting Emma to currently be ranked British number 1 and world number 19.

British Airways has a long-standing history of supporting national sporting events and teams and we will be Emma’s first British brand partner.

When people talk about Emma, they only ever talk about her achievements. The prizes. The podiums. The medals. But it isn’t what she’s achieved that makes her a champion. It’s the journey she’s been on to get there. It’s who she is. Where she’s come from. What she’s sacrificed. What she stands for. Who she’s inspired. What she means to a new generation of British talent.

Emma and her team are proudly carried by British Airways, and we will continue to support her as we fly her around the world for training and tournaments, including 2022’s US Open in New York, and the Master’s events in Rome and California.

As well as tennis, Emma shares our passion for aviation, and is particularly encouraging of women joining the industry.
