At the heart of Sorrento’s historical centre, Piazza Tasso is the perfect place to sit back with a cappuccino and watch the world go by. From this bustling square, make your way to the Via San Cesareo and pick up a bottle of Sorrento’s famous liqueur – Limoncello – from one of the many shops that line this pedestrianized street. Follow Via del Capo from the centre of Sorrento town to beautiful Punta del Capo beach. Recline on its soft golden sands and snorkel in the clear sapphire sea. Or cool off in the jade waters of the Bath of Queen Giovanna nearby. Combine beach relaxation with culture and take in the ruins of a Roman villa on the tip of Punta del Capo.

Sheltered by a promontory separating it from Sorrento, the pretty fishing port of Marina Grande has retained its historical village charm.
