Longhaul fares

With the introduction of our new Basic Economy fare, we now offer two types of economy fare products in our World Traveller cabin, giving customers even more options when they travel with us. All of our longhaul economy fares include our new and improved inflight meals, access to a great range of inflight entertainment and complimentary blankets and headphones.

Basic Economy offers customers the option of an unbundled fare which includes a hand baggage allowance only and a seat allocated at check in. Customers have the option of adding checked bags and seating for a fee before departure. Bronze, Silver and Gold Executive Club Members are still entitled to free seat selection when travelling on this fare.

Standard Economy offers customers a bundled fare, inclusive of checked baggage and free seat selection. Customers have a 23kg checked baggage allowance and can select their seat from 24 hours prior to departure.

For selected longhaul routes, customers can enjoy an enhanced in-flight experience in our premium economy cabin,
World Traveller Plus. Find out more on ba.com
