At Disney's All Star Music Resort, huge musical instruments overlay the buildings and each area represents a different genre of music. The huge, neon-lit jukebox and electric guitars embody the rock ‘n’ roll era, while the giant saxophones and clarinets symbolise jazz music. Elsewhere, there’s a Broadway theatre marquee and a country music section, where you’ll find a large pair of cowboy boots which rise above the hotel buildings.
After exploring the theme parks, take a refreshing dip in the guitar-shaped Calypso Pool which features a water fountain sculpture of The Three Caballeros. Around the pool’s edge, there are giant maracas, towering palm trees and plenty of sunloungers. A second Piano Pool is keyboard-shaped and offers a quieter atmosphere.
Children can play in the small playground nearby, which is equipped with two plastic slides and a climbing frame. There’s also a paved jogging track which is one mile long, and an indoor Note’able Games Arcade where you can play several video games. On select evenings, watch complimentary screenings of Disney films outdoors.
Intermission Food Court is a quick-service restaurant with plenty of seating. The food stations serve popular fare such as pizza, pasta, chicken wings, sandwiches, barbecue ribs and salads. Tempting desserts are also available for afters. Alternatively, the hotel’s pizza delivery service gives you the option to dine in the comfort of your own room. Fresh pizzas, side dishes and drinks can be delivered straight to your room (for a supplement).
Head over to the Calypso Pool to order refreshing drinks at the Singing Spirits Pool Bar. The bar menu includes a selection of cocktails and craft beers.
