The resort’s beach is a sunbather’s paradise, offering white sandy expanses and gentle, lapping waves. Comfortable sun loungers and canvas umbrellas line the beach, and you’ll benefit from beachside service throughout the day. Enjoy a complimentary snorkelling trip to the offshore coral reef or take a glass-bottom boat ride around the lagoon. The boathouse offers complimentary water sports such as windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding – with water skiing and scuba diving available for a supplementary charge. On the nearby island of Ile aux Cerfs, another private beach lies at your disposal, and the complimentary water taxi makes multiple trips each day.

There are three resort pools, all offering poolside service. The two infinity-edge pools form a tiered oasis overlooking the beach. Its upper level is more suitable for children since it’s shallower, with a gradual sloped entrance. The third pool is tucked away within the tropical grounds. You can also relax at the Anahita Spa by Thémaé Paris, which presents a spa menu of tea-based, Japanese treatments. There are several treatment rooms, and massages can be performed in open-air gazebos, or within the privacy of your suite or villa. Spa facilities include changing rooms, a steam room and a manicure and pedicure room. After the treatment, you’ll be granted to a poolside tea ceremony.

Golfers can tee off at two 18-hole courses. There’s the on-site golf course, designed by Ernie Els, and a second course on Ile aux Cerfs, designed by Bernhard Langer. Both courses boast fabulous ocean views. The Golf Academy offers private lessons, and the Golf Club House contains a driving range, putting green and pro shop. Situated on the first floor of the Golf Club House, the fitness centre is fully equipped with cardiovascular and weightlifting equipment. Personal fitness trainers are on hand to assist with special tailor-made programmes, and you can book fitness classes like Zumba and aqua fit. You can also hire bikes or play tennis on one of the three nearby courts.

Ourspace is the resort’s kids’ club and nursery that welcomes children from 8 months to 12 years old. Access to the club is free of charge for children from 4 to 13 years old (excluding meals). This facility features several play zones and colourful rooms, and it hosts activities such as baking, arts and crafts and games. Supervised leaders also organise fun outings, taking little ones on nature walks or treasure hunts. Older children can hang out at the Escape Teens Club and participate in outdoor activities such as snorkelling, water skiing and tennis competitions. Teens can also hang out in a room with video games, internet access and table tennis.  

Dining information

Anahita Golf & Spa Resort presents an assortment of culinary options. Origine Restaurant is located by the beach, serving local and international buffet dishes for breakfast and dinner. There’s an open kitchen where chefs freshly prepare dishes, including pancakes and omelettes for breakfast, or Mauritian specialities for dinner. Experience different dinner themes throughout the week.

During the day, stop by Sugar to order coffees, pastries and savoury snacks, or enjoy barefoot beach dining at the laidback Bliss Restaurant. The menu here includes an impressive selection of Mediterranean and Mauritian dishes, as well as toasted sandwiches, pizzas and homemade ice creams. In the evening, there’s a sumptuous and exciting degustation theme.

The a la carte Il Forno Restaurant is located by the main golf course, offering clubhouse style lunches, followed by a selection of authentic Italian dishes for dinner. Signature is a fine-dining venue that specialises in Mauritian cuisine, made with locally sourced produce. Meals are served in an elegant setting overlooking the jetty.

Head off-site to the Domaine De L'etoile Restaurant to try Mauritian specialities such as marinated curry leaf chicken and braised beef cheek. There’s also a first-rate delicatessen where you can order fine Italian products by L'artigiano. For drinks and snacks, visit the beachside Vu Bar. On select evenings, the bar hosts live bands, DJ sets and other entertainment.  

Additional information

There is a smart casual dress code at Origine Restaurant and Signature Restaurant. This means you cannot wear shorts or flip-flops at these restaurants.
