The four-star Hilton Boston Park Plaza is an iconic city centre landmark. Opened in 1927, the hotel is as renowned as the Boston Tea Party and Red Socks baseball team. With its recent multi-million-dollar renovation in 2016, it makes for a contemporary stay with a slice of history and a brilliant city centre location – no wonder it’s one of guests favourite hotels.

Ideally located within the walkable Theatre District – the popular Newbury Street, Back Bay and Brecon Hill are all close by. When you’re ready to see more, the hotel is just a one-minute walk to Arlington subway. The hotel is a five-minute walk south of the Boston Public Gardens (where you can join a boat ride around the lagoon). It’s also less than two miles to the Red Sox famous Fenway Park baseball stadium and under five miles, over the Charles River, to Harvard University. The hotel is conveniently less than five miles away from Boston Logan International Airport.

The hotel is one of the largest in Boston, with over 1000 modern rooms across 15 floors. Choose one of the four room types, ranging from around 100 square feet up to 380 square feet. Although some are considered a little on the small side, all rooms come with a Keurig Coffee Maker®, smart TV, bedside USB charging ports, 100% blackout shades and an electronic in-room safe as standard. Dining information

The hotel has nine restaurants and lounges on site. Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options including: Fresh Atlantic Seafood at McCormick and afternoon tea at Schmick's and authentic Irish cuisine at MJ O'Connor's. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Off the Common, is open for early bird breakfasts up until late night bites. Offering locally inspired dishes, be sure to try the clam chowder or the lobster roll. The menu may appear a bit pricey – but this is typical for big cities in the US. There’s a Starbucks at the front of the Park Plaza to kick-start your day. And if you get back late, there’s room service available until 11pm.

Alternatively, just outside the lobby is the steakhouse STRIP by Strega. Only open in the evenings, order the Strega’s fruity signature cocktail (Bella Luna) as you choose your cut and cook of steak. Check the schedule on your arrival for ‘Live in the Library’ every Thursday, when the Boston Park Plaza hosts live music from 18.30 to 22.30. Listen to the sounds of local musicians whilst sipping your way through the cocktail menu – if you get peckish, there’s a full menu to peruse. In the winter, snuggle up by the fire for an even more atmospheric evening.
