Located on the Greek island of Zakynthos, the resort is situated in the calm village of Akrotiri, perched on a hillside between olive groves and fruit trees. The coast is dotted with plenty of pretty beaches and coves, including a rocky and pebbly beach, accessible directly from the resort, and Tsivili Beach, a Blue Flag stretch of sand less than one mile from the resort. The Venetian castle of Bóchal and the busy town of Zante are less than three miles away. Zakynthos International Airport is six miles from the resort.
The resort’s buildings are made from stone and whitewashed walls, interspersed with trees and green landscaped areas. Bright Suites and Villas offer a modern take on traditional Greek style, with white interiors, beamed ceilings, creamy coloured fabrics and raw, rustic-looking wood furniture. All options are spacious and offer king-size beds and generous seating areas, as well as walk-in showers and separate bathtubs. Luxury toiletries are provided, as are pool and beach towels. Three pools overlook the Ionian Sea, each bordered by white sunbeds and umbrellas. You can indulge in a selection of face and body treatments incorporating Mediterranean herbs at the Armonia Wellness & Spa. The spa facilities include a heated pool, whirlpool, saunas and a hammam, hair salon and fitness centre. The resort’s boutique and folklore museum are located within the main square, alongside the restaurants and bars.
The resort also offers activities which celebrate the island’s history and culture, including wine tasting and cooking lessons. You can also explore the region by hiking, biking and riding a yacht to beaches, caves and local islands. Additionally, visit the villages of Tragaki and Zante to scope out churches, monasteries and an olive oil museum.
A colourful kids’ club and pool provides a fun escape for young guests, too.
Dining information
Lesante Cape Resort & Villas is home to four restaurants. Open for breakfast and dinner, Elea Restaurant serves local artisanal breads and pastries in the mornings, and Mediterranean cuisine in the evenings. Novita is an open-air venue overlooking the sea, serving fresh seafood and Ionian cuisine for lunch and dinner, while Fiore is an adult-only dining venue, offering international cuisine and local produce with panoramic sea views. Taverna restaurant offers a traditional setting and themed evenings with fried calamari, gyros and live local bands on select days of the week.
Four bars include the Novita pool bar and the Kafeneio bar, serving Greek coffees and sweet treats in the cobbled courtyard. The Noble Lounge Bar opens from the evening into the small hours.
The half board package includes breakfast and dinner at the Elea restaurant. For breakfast, a combination of buffet-style and a la carte dining is offered. For dinner, a five-course set menu is available. Alternatively, you can receive a EUR 20 credit towards an a la carte dinner at the adult-only Fiore, or at Novita (drinks not included). You may also swap dinner for lunch at Novita.
