Palazzo Vendramin is a 15th-century residence, linked to the Belmond Hotel Cipriani through an ancient courtyard and a passageway lined with flowers. The Belmond Hotel Cipriani is home to the only swimming pool in central Venice. It is heated, Olympic-sized and filled with filtered seawater. The pool area is also the setting for some spectacular events, such as the resorts celebrations during the Redentore festival held each July. An evening of sumptuous dining and entertainment around the pool culminates in watching the stunning firework display from the Fondamenta della Zitelle.
The hotel has three restaurants and two bars, including the Michelin-starred Oro which gets its name from a gold-leaf ceiling, and Cip’s Club – a hot spot in the city for local cuisine in a privileged location on the canal.
