This peaceful beachfront retreat is located on an island in the Ionian Sea. Designed in the style of a traditional fishing village with whitewashed buildings bordering winding streets, the resort blends in with the unspoilt surroundings. As well as the splendid setting, Marpunta Resort provides an impressive range of facilities, charming service and transfers to and from the airport to the island.
Set in a National Marine Park and close to three private beaches, the hotel is in Marpunta, on the quiet and lesser-known Greek island of Alonissos. The island’s largest village, Patitiri, is less than five minutes’ drive away and the hotel operates a free shuttle to the picturesque Old Town of Alonissos. Travelling to and from this island is made easy with the hotel’s transfers, consisting of a shuttle bus to and from Skiathos airport and a ferry trip in between, which takes from one and a half to two and a half hours, depending on the type of ferry. Private transfers are also available on request.
Rooms are designed with a relaxed, understated atmosphere and are decorated in cool, light tones with contemporary pops of colour. They are equipped with comfortable Hypnos beds, flat screen TVs, luxurious toiletries and all rooms have a veranda or balcony. Upgrade to a Superior Seafront Suite for the most space, a large veranda with outdoor furniture and views of the Ionian Sea.
