The Clubhouse is the resort’s main recreation and sports centre, where the staff posts the daily activities programme. You can start the day with a yoga session on the beach or join fitness classes, such as aqua aerobics. Alternatively, play a game of football or head to the floodlit court for a tennis or paddle tennis match. Water sports on offer include snorkelling and diving with the resort’s PADI-licensed diving team. You can also hire complimentary bikes to explore the grounds or to travel between the two resort pools, including an adult-only pool; they’re located on either side of the island.

Younger children are well catered for with a first-rate kids’ club that features colourful indoor playrooms and a shaded outdoor playground. Children ages 4 to 12 can enjoy a range of supervised activities here, and babysitting service is available for children under 4, subject to an additional charge.

The serene Akiri Spa by Mandara is set within a luscious landscape, enhanced by dazzling Indian Ocean views. The spa menu includes a variety of treatments, including Ayurveda therapies, signature facials and body scrubs that incorporate natural ingredients from the island. There’s also a beauty salon, an inviting relaxation lounge, a sauna and a steam room.

In the evenings, check out live music, karaoke nights and sunset DJ sets. You can also catch a movie on the beach and socialise at one of the bars. 

Dining information

The resort’s main all-day dining restaurant, The Spice, serves buffet-style international cuisine, with live cooking stations and theme nights throughout the week. Just Veg provides a contemporary vegetarian menu for lunch and dinner, with flavours from the Mediterranean, Middle East and India. The Sunset serves light meals from an a la carte lunch menu, including classic burgers, sandwiches and snacks. As the sun sets, this beachside venue transforms into a romantic fine dining restaurant that specialises in Asian-Mediterranean fusion cuisine.

Elsewhere, you can sample Sri Lankan street food at Ceylon Bliss, signature cocktails at The Liquid bar and authentic Japanese flavours at the Teppanyaki Grill. For a special dining experience, don’t miss Pier Six, which is built above the water in the shape of a native manta ray. It’s here that you can try delicious seafood dishes with a Maldivian twist, alongside delicacies from the Japanese teppanyaki menu.
