Overview

This low-cost option, at the top of The Strip, is unmissable. Its needle-like, 350-metre tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the US, and it’s the main attraction. Featuring exhilarating rides, a SkyPod experience and a revolving restaurant, this is an ideal choice for families and thrill seekers alike.

Located on Las Vegas Boulevard, on the north edge of The Strip, offering a bird’s-eye view of downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street. Catch the Deuce bus, which runs 24/7, to reach the main hive of activity 10 minutes’ away. McCarran International Airport is 5 miles away.

Guest rooms are located in the adjoining buildings, 22 storeys high, and start from 30 m2 – a little cosy by Vegas standards. They all feature the basic amenities for a comfortable stay, including a 55-inch HD TV, coffee maker, a mini fridge and USB charging stations. We recommend upgrading to a Suite if size is a factor. They have a spacious bedroom and a separate sitting area with a fridge and wet bar. The oversized bathroom includes a spa or roman tub, made for soaking, and a separate shower too. We recommend upgrading to an Elevate Queen or Elevate King room for more modern decor.

Other facilities

Experience the highest view from the observation deck and ride three roller coasters. Insanity will dangle you over the edge, X-Scream will climb 866 feet high, while the Big Shoot will send you 160 feet high at 45 mph, but the unobstructed views of the Strip from the 112th floor won’t disappoint. Or take the SkyJump, a controlled free fall that sends you plunging from the 108th floor at about 40 miles per hour.

For a spot of daytime R&R, head to the Elation Pool. This resort-style family outdoor pool is located on the 8th floor and features plenty of sun loungers and three over-sized hot tubs. For those 21+ there is also an adult-only pool (top-optional), open seasonally. The RADIUSº Rooftop Pool & Wet Lounge is located on the 25th floor, offering panoramic views for the more faint hearted. There is also a 24-hour fitness centre.

The hotel’s casino features 750 machines and 44 tables, from 1¢ to $25 slots to firm favourites like blackjack and roulette. The William Hill Sports Book features a massive LED wall with nearly 40 feeds so you don’t miss out on any of the action.

There is no shortage of live entertainment too, with DJs performing nightly. You can also book tickets to see production shows in The Strat Theatre including MJ Live, a Michael Jackson tribute act, Banachek’s Mind Games, Xavier Mortimer- Experience The Magic, Iluminate and the L.A. Comedy Club.

Dining information

Top of The World restaurant, 800 feet high and rotating 360 degrees every 80 minutes, offers a fine dining experience. It’s worth making a reservation at the earliest opportunity, to avoid disappointment. At PT's Wings & Sports you can enjoy pub grub paired with dozens of craft beers on tap. 108 Eats is where to go for an ice-cream sandwich, before picking up a souvenir cup filled with your favourite frozen cocktail from 108 Drinks. While Nunzio's Pizzeria offers an extensive pizza menu by the slice or whole, to dine-in or to-go. Or you can get your burger fix at the Elation Pool Café & Bar.
